“ I would give it 10 stars if I could!!! The best Bakery the staff are happy to explain what all the products are and all the pastries I purchased were delicious. Will Definitely return ”
“ The people are very nice he food is fabulous and they always have a large variety of deserts. ”
“ Although it is kind of difficult to figure out which pastry/cake is what, it was delicious. There is a nice variety but there are no prices anywhere so it's not the easiest place to order anything. I would go back as there are not a lot of great bakeries and the cake was really good, but like I said kind of hard to figure out what you are buying. ”
“ On a weekday night this bakery was actually quite busy with regular customers, I was impressed. At the front you can choose from pastries to pick up and people got trays and stacked them full! I got a peach tres leche for $4.50. The slice was pretty big and the taste was pretty good. I was surprised it was so cheap! I had no trouble trying to order in English though most people around me were ordering in Spanish. There is a $5 card minimum tho, so bring cash if you're planning to get something small. ”
“ I promised the wife that I would search for and find a special cake or other exemplary baked good for the centerpiece dessert of our Spring Festival celebration this year. With good friends visiting from her homeland (China), I had no choice. After a lunch meeting in Norristown yesterday, I decided to see what I could find there. Fear not! Eli's Bakery Cafe was only minutes away on W. Marshall Street with strong reviews, so I drove over to take a look. I was blown away! Eli's is an amazing Mexican bakery with enough space to have large refrigerated displays, wall length 7 foot enclosed pastry shelves, and racks of bread, individual portions of various cakes, rolls and whatever your heart desired that could be baked in their enormous ovens. The skill level of their artisans was off the charts, and obviously trained and well practiced in the bakery arts. Yes. I was sorely tempted to score many of the delectables I saw, but I was on a mission, and bringing home a large box of sweets and goodies would not be well received at home. So, I focused and found the most attractive work of art I could find - a glazed fruit covered Flan y Chocflan con Fruta super tart. Huge strawberries circled the circumference, while raspberries, grapes and sliced peaches filled the rest of the topside. The flan was simply remarkable. Made of eggs, condensed milk, evaporated milk and caramel, it was cool and far beyond delicious. It was one of those magical custards that make you swoon when it hits the tongue. Perfect flavor and texture. Not too sweet, you could almost convince yourself it was healthy, too. Truth was; I didn't care! This was one of the best things I had put in my mouth in the past year or more. We did have a feast last night. About 10 Chinese dishes that filled us as we ate and drank the night away. Yet, the star of the show came from this Mexican bakery half way around the world from the Middle Kingdom. Eli's made the showstopper. And I was the conquering hero for one night. ”
“ This is the most amazing bake shop I have seen anywhere The price was great the specials cake was just amazing, better than I have ever bought. They have for all occasions amazing decorating. This bakery shop has it all, anything imagined you can buy here. Danishes donuts cakes of any kind, breads everything I was totally amazed. This is the only bake shop I will ever go for any occasion from now on. A grocery store cake for the same price cannot possibly compare. I recommend this bakery highly. Bring your phone to translate the conversation. For the most rewarding experience. You must stop in and buy. I give it a 10 if I could but the rating goes to only a 5 and I give it a 5 and two thumb's up. My name is Jerry "thank you ELI's" for making the center piece for a great party for my daughter. Thank you Jerry ”
“ Incredible selection of delicious Mexican pastries, cakes, cookies, breads and sweets. This is a classic authentic Mexican bakery. The staff is very talented with cake decorating and made a beautiful crafted cake for her birthday on short notice. It was as delicious as it looked. They also keep many cakes ready to go for walk up orders. ”
“ Such a great experience at this panaderia! The prices are great and the selection is fantastic. I paid 10 bucks for a big bag of pan dulce and a drink and it was an awesome treat. Every pan tasted perfect and the bolillos were both crispy and fluffy. Ive been enjoying my leftover pan for days, so I'll definitely be going back! They also have an absolutely beautiful display of cakes and other treats. The flan and fruit tarts looked especially appealing, and I'm sure all of them would be a hit at a party or potluck! ”
“ We had the pumpkin cheesecake and the pecan bar which were both beautiful and delicious. They have several pastries and cakes including tres leches. They also have beverages available. Good service and ambiance. It is definitely a takeout place they don't have dine in. Parking can be tricky. ”
“ Extensive selection of pastries and cakes. Went here for a tres leches cake. It was $125 for a suggested 40 person cake. Truly it could have served more than forty. Definitely worth it. Delicious. Ended up getting strawberry filling but they also had sever other option. They also put icing on the front and any kind of writing you want. On the pastry front they have dozens of rows of items on metal trays. You serve yourself here and grab a circular metal tray and tongs and grab the items you want then take them to the front for check out. They also have Mexican sodas and other beverages. ”
